Rain rain go away come again another day!

This Friday is the debut of the 'Van of dreams'. When i say van of dreams i use those terms loosely- if it was infact a 'van of dreams' it would probably be half hover craft, half van look-alike 'meet the fockers'.

Simon and I are heading off to The Southern Oracle Festival. Its an amazing gathering of fantastic people in a beautiful outdoor setting. Really funky DJ's, visual artists and street performers (oooooo and great markets!!!).

Last year it was record temperatures of -6 degrees..... eeep! freezing. Simon and I had a tent last year and were totally unprepared for the plummeting temperatures- having to resort to a {rats} 'nest-like' strategy to keep ourselves warm in the tent. Waking up and breathing out visible condensation was very unpleasant. I do vividly remember Simon's first sentence out of his frost biten mouth from the first night was .."FUCK THIS! LETS GO HOME!".  We stuck the weekend out and danced ourselves warm!!

Here are some photos of the doof from the years gone by.

Looks good huh??

Other email inbox goodies was a craft swap reminder from Kelsey @ Artichoke designs. I've been assigned a partner and can't wait to get crafting for Zara. Co-in-ci-dink that we are both nurses! cool!

Ive got the sewing machine out madly making curtains for the 'van of dreams' before tomorrow night! Wish me luck. Happy Hump day lovelies!

-6c is cold for you guys? Teehee! Come to Canada, I'll show you around! <3 On another note, that festival sounds pretty fun! I wish we had something like that close by here! I've always wanted to go to Burning Man...

I'll come over to you for winter-errr your summer and you come over to oz for summer! Im sure the only struggle would be getting your baby out of the ocean!
